Baby Dedication & Mother's Day

Last Sunday (as everyone knows) was Mother's Day. This year the weather was a little nasty, (which made for a great nap for me while Kane watched the boys!) but otherwise the day was great! At church was the Baby Dedication ceremony in which we dedicated Harper (this is the 2nd year in a row, last year we dedicated carson...don't worry everyone, we won't make it 3 in a row!) Afterwards, all of us went out to eat at the Texas Roadhouse. Like I said earlier, I was able to take a nap afterwards which was great! It's been awhile since I was able to get uninterupted sleep! The night didn't end so well though...Carson was running down the hall and tripped and smacked his mouth pretty hard on the floor. He bled everywhere! So we had to take a trip to the urgent care...He's okay, but he cut his gum pretty. We have a feeling this is going to be the first of many more to come! Carson is (like me) pretty clumsy. He ALWAYS has bumps, scratches, and bruises all over (usually his face) It definitely makes us look pretty bad, but what can we say? He's a boy! And an active one at that!
