when God speaks, you listen.
For quite a few months now, I have been struggling with what I'm suppose to do.. I know that at this point in my life, my job is to be a wife and mother. But I also know that last summer, God opened up the door for me to go back to school. I literally sat down for half an hour, researched associate degree careers that CFCC offered, and chose the Occupational Therapy program. I went to CFCC a few days later and signed up for classes centered around the OTA program. And just like that, I made a big decision. Huge decision. Life-Changing Decision. Without once consulting God. (What can I say, I was a bit preoccupied. So technically this is all Kanes fault. Ha! Just kidding.)
So since January, I have had a very unsettled feeling as to what my major is really suppose to be. What I am suppose to be going to school for. Should I stay in the OTA program?
I decided to do what I should have done in the first place. Pray.
So I prayed daily, and God answered. And when He speaks, you listen.
I know now that although I really hate having to switch my major [for the third time]
I have to listen to what I was told.
So I am now committing the next (years) of my life to my major in Social Work.
And I'm excited.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
Isaiah 30:21

Thats okay Bethany! I kind of abandoned it and just recently started back with it. I actually changed the name a few weeks ago, but didn't tell anyone until yesterday!
