Kindergarten!

My oldest baby started Kindergarten today!

He was SO excited. He was up before the alarm even went off (I only know this because Grant was also up before the alarm went off. Ear infections suck.)

He got ready, ate breakfast (pancakes & OJ), brushed his teeth and was ready in record time. I made his lunch, gathered the crew, and we headed to his school.

Well...not before a last goodbye hug.

It is a SUPER long walk to the Kindergarten wing. Parents can walk the kids to the classroom for the first two weeks only, then they have to do it themselves. I'm seriously not exaggerating when I say it is a long walk!

He saw a good friend from church across the hall from his classroom, then saw one of his best buds in his class (from preschool). He put his things in his cubby & found his seat!

We gave quick hugs and kisses & left.

Honestly it wasn't too hard-he went to full time pre-k last year, so we knew the drill. Even so, it doesn't take away from the fact that my baby is in kindergarten!

We are hoping and praying for a good year!
