Grant Joseph is 5 months old today!
Seriously, where has time gone?
He currently wears 6-9 months & 12 months in clothing and size 3 in diapers (when he wears disposables).
I have no idea his weight or height, but I would guess somewhere in the 17-18 pound range.
This sweet baby is SUCH a happy boy. His laugh is contagious and he gives a smile to anyone & everyone that is willing to look.
He loves. loves, loves to eat. I was going to hold off on purees for a bit longer, but I decided to give it a test run a few weeks ago to see how he would do. The first time he tried food (pureed apples), he ate almost the entire jar-without dripping any on his bib! We went ahead and have introduced quite a few different foods over the weeks-apples, bananas, pears, squash, carrots, avocados, & green beans-his favorite being apples and green beans. Because I am extremely OCD (I did this with boys, too), he eats a fruit for breakfast, a yellow/orange veggie for lunch, and a green veggie for dinner (& yes, I realize avocados are technically a fruit, but we'll call them a vegetable, okay?) I have been making my own baby food (with the exception of a few), and it has been quite the adventure! More on that later.
His favorite activities include sucking on his feet & trying to stick anything & everything into his mouth to soothe his swollen gums. He has half of a tooth that has cut through & another on the way.
His brothers adore him and crack up when he gives them slobbery kisses.
Happy 5 months Grant! We love you!

Grant can roll from his stomach to his back with ease, and can roll from his back to his stomach as well, but chooses not too :) He has only done it twice, but seriously hates to be on his stomach (as did his brothers). I have no clue why, but all of them HATED to be on their stomachs & were never big rollers.
