Grant's check-up

Grant had his 6 month check up today and weighed in at 19 lbs and was 27 1/2 inches long!

Grant was up all night Saturday night and Sunday fussing and crying. He's also been crying during his nap times-all of this being SO uncharacteristic for him. The only thing that would comfort him was a bottle and sleeping with me in bed (in the crook of my arm, with his head elevated). Even though he had no fever, I knew he had an ear infection. 

Grant already (thankfully) had an appointment first thing this morning so I asked the ped to check his ears and sure enough, he has an ear infection. Its actually the same ear that was infected a few months ago. I need to make a mental note to mention that to the craniofacial doctors that we'll go see late September. 

Anyways, the only "plus" to having the ear infection is that he didn't have to get his immunizations today! We do have to go back in 2 weeks for a re-check of his ear and for the shots. 

Otherwise, he is doing great and is thriving!
