well...i finally broke down and got Grant's hair cut.
i do realize it is just hair, but I'm kind of regretting it. I told her I just wanted a trim..and she echoed my request several times, but even so, it came out a bit shorter then I would have liked. sigh...oh well. i did like her-a lot-which is nice because I had to try a new salon. My favorite kid's hair salon closed (along with all of the others in town!), so now there is only ONE kid salon in all of the city, and its a bit of a drive for me, too. but I was definitely willing to take him there because these stylists are accustomed to working with squirming, screaming kids.
Grant did SO good. I'm still shocked, haha. He sat still and even though he wasn't happy, he also didn't cry either. Score! Harp screamed hysterically for years anytime scissors came near his head. Seriously. So I was expecting the worst from Grant. Oh, and speaking of scissors near Harp's head, take a wild guess who decided to chop chunks of hair off 5 minutes before we left for church Sunday? I'll give you a hint...middle child.
here are a few grainy cell pictures before & during!
and from when we got home:
